Upload source files
Availability: Public to authenticated Sentium users with source-upload permission.
Drag-and-drop upload creates a one-time copied snapshot. It does not remain connected to the file on your computer, and Sentium cannot detect later edits unless you upload the revised file.
Before uploading
- Confirm that you are permitted to use the file in the selected workspace.
- Choose the correct company-wide or device-specific scope.
- Upload complete source documents rather than screenshots when the original file is available.
- Review each file's visible processing result before relying on it.
Sentium accepts common document formats supported by the active ingestion policy. Format and size limits are enforced at upload time. An unsupported, encrypted, malformed, or unsafe file is rejected individually with a visible reason; one rejected file does not silently invalidate the rest of the batch.
Uploading a revision
Upload the revised file and associate it with the existing source when prompted. Sentium preserves the earlier immutable version rather than overwriting it. Historical citations continue to point to the version actually used.
For automatically detected provider changes, use a continuing connection. Read the source data lifecycle for scanning, processing, retention, and deletion behavior.
